Project brief
The Novelle was designed as a modern residential development where the planning had to feel simple, useful, and refined. The focus was not only on creating a clean-looking building, but on shaping homes that work well in daily life. Apartment layouts, balcony placement, daylight, circulation, and shared spaces all had to come together without making the project feel crowded or visually heavy. The design direction stayed contemporary, warm, and practical, with a material palette that supports comfort and long-term use. Every detail was planned to make the building feel polished without losing the ease of everyday living.
LaZone approach
For LaZone, The Novelle was about creating balance. The architecture needed a clear identity, while the apartments needed to remain functional and comfortable. This meant every design decision had to serve both the building’s exterior presence and the way people would experience the interiors. LaZone worked with clean facade lines, glass, textured cladding, aluminium framing, wood tones, porcelain finishes, and modern metal accents to create a composed residential character. The palette was kept soft and warm, so the project could feel current without becoming too sharp or cold. The shared amenities were also planned as part of the full residential experience. They were not treated as separate features, but as spaces that support wellness, movement, relaxation, and community living.
